After two years of construction, this new attraction for beach lovers is ready to delight residents and tourists with its opening this summer.
The new bathing area in Valleseco has been designed to combine the best of sea and land. The maritime section of the beach has been successfully completed, featuring two attractive floating platforms that will delight sun worshippers. In addition, sea access ramps and maritime defenses have been established to ensure a safe and accessible bathing experience.
As for the land area, the final details of paving and conditioning of the so-called north square are being finalized. Moreover, the service buildings, which will provide essential support to visitors, are already finished and the final touches are being added to their interiors.
To ensure the beauty and functionality of Valleseco beach, the architects Casariego-Guerra have worked on every element of the design. From the location of the access walkways to the distribution of the paved areas, every aspect has been meticulously planned. The service buildings not only offer essential amenities but also serve as a support for an impressive vertical garden.
This vertical garden, which has already begun to be planted with palm trees and large trees, will dress the two buildings, bringing a touch of green to the coastal landscape.
The Valleseco beach project is structured in three groups of actions: the Charcos Beach, the Docks, and the Maritime Defenses. Charcos Beach promises a unique bathing experience with its 272 meters of coastline. Depending on the tides, visitors will be able to enjoy more or less flooded ground surfaces. In addition, it will have a walking and socializing area of 350 meters, which will function as the connecting axis of the whole.
